In Monaco, Pierre Gasly skillfully dodges the wall.
The third and final practice session for the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix is complete with Charles Leclerc finishing top ahead of the all-important qualifying later today.
During the drivers’ last opportunity to complete some laps before qualifying, an unforeseen interruption occurred when Valtteri Bottas collided with the wall at Rascasse just 12 minutes into the session, resulting in the red flag being raised.
Following a brief delay, the session commenced with a series of close calls, as Lewis Hamilton, Kevin Magnussen, and Oscar Piastri found themselves venturing into the run-off area at Turn 1.
Impeding appears to be a significant factor in qualifying, as several drivers had to abandon their laps when encountering slow-moving cars ahead.
However, just like in FP2, Charles Leclerc emerged as the fastest driver in his hometown, leading the timesheets at the end of the session.
