Seattle v Sporting KC: Both Teams to Score (-140)

Both the form and style of play play a significant role in these bets, with both Sporting KC and Seattle having scored in the majority of their recent matches. Based on their playing styles, it is highly likely that both teams will score in this game, as well as there being over 2.5 goals. According to the model, both teams are projected to score more than 1.3 goals each. Although squads may have changed during the off-season, it is worth noting that these teams had two high-scoring games last season. Sporting KC has conceded 2+ goals in their last five matches, but have only been shut out twice all season. Therefore, it is a favorable opportunity to place a bet and expect players like Ruidiaz, Morris, and Pulido to contribute to the offensive output in tonight’s match.

Minnesota v Dallas: Minnesota to Win (+115)

Minnesota has been scoring an average of almost two goals per game this season, and they have scored two or more goals in seven out of their last eight matches. On the other hand, Dallas has managed to score at least one goal in seven of their last eight matches, but they have struggled defensively throughout the season. Dallas is coming into this game after suffering two consecutive losses in Los Angeles, while Minnesota has been performing well at home. The Loons have not been shut out in any home game this season, while Dallas has conceded at least one goal in every away match except for one. Dallas has not won a game in the past four weeks, and with a projected win percentage of 53% for Minnesota, there is value in betting on them. If you are not confident in Minnesota winning, you can consider taking the Over 2.5 goals at -140.

Vlad Tarasenko Over 1.5 Shots (-135)

Tarasenko has an excellent opportunity in this matchup. Abel, the third line forward, should take advantage of the Oilers’ lack of depth and generate offense for the Panthers. The success of Florida depends heavily on Tarasenko and Anton Lundell exploiting their matchup against the Oilers’ bottom-six players. According to Betalytics, Tarasenko is expected to have 1.87 shots with a hit rate close to 60%. Additionally, he will likely have powerplay time and, given his line’s ability to dominate in a favorable matchup, he is a strong candidate for a positive outcome.

Tarasenko has successfully hit this line in four out of five games and eight out of his last 10 games. The bottom-six forward group of Edmonton tends to allow a lot of shots, making this an excellent opportunity for both Tarasenko and Lundell to take control of the puck and keep the Oilers trapped in their own zone. Betting on both players to have 2+ shots is +190 and worth a half unit.
