Verstappen expressed his delight at the news of Checo signing with the team until 2026, stating that he is pleased to carry on with the fruitful partnership they have built in recent years.
After mentioning their dominant 2023 season, the Dutchman further affirmed that he would be proudly representing Red Bull for the following two seasons.

Verstappen addressed the upcoming race in Montreal, where he emerged victorious in 2022 and 2023. Following a challenging experience in Monaco, he emphasized the significance of attaining the ideal configuration for the RB20.
