RB has revealed a striking livery design for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix set to take place this weekend.
Just a day after their much-hyped Miami livery was revealed, Ferrari have been bested by RB who have unveiled a stunning new take on their car.
For weeks, Ferrari had been hinting at a blue livery, building up anticipation among their fans. However, their final unveiling of the SF-24 turned out to be slightly underwhelming as it only showcased marginal differences. On the other hand, Red Bull (RB) has taken a bold approach by introducing a strikingly distinct livery for the Miami race.
RB unveil ‘chameleon’ car ahead of Miami GP
The VCARB 01 already topped our list for the best liveries of the year but the team have improved on the design by throwing some Miami-esque colours all across the chassis.
The team revealed their new livery prior to the upcoming race, and as expected with F1 unveils, there was a commercial association involved.
The team stated that the concept is inspired by the “Cash App Visa Chameleon Card,” incorporating its vibrant colors, a move that is expected to delight the team’s major sponsor.
“Our Chameleon Card livery in Visa Cash App RB’s vibrant color scheme is a fitting choice for our inaugural race in the United States,” stated Peter Bayer, the CEO of RB. He further added, “Since our team’s debut in Las Vegas back in February, we have made significant progress, and we are thrilled to take our fans on an exhilarating new adventure.”
Visa and Cash App share the common goal of advancing and uniting people in the sport, offering one-of-a-kind experiences. The remarkable livery and the events held in Miami to unveil it showcase their dedication to the team and F1. We are eager to witness the Chameleon VCARB 01 in action this weekend.
