A multitude of upgrades has been brought by McLaren to the Miami Grand Prix.
McLaren have brought a lengthy list of upgrades with them to the Miami Grand Prix this weekend, which include a “completely revised” front wing and floor on the MCL38.
The FIA has recently published the Miami event’s ‘show and tell’ report, which mandates all 10 teams to reveal any upgrades made to their cars. McLaren stands out with a notable 10 distinct modifications implemented on the MCL38 for this particular race.
McLaren make significant tweaks to MCL38 with ‘completely revised’ parts in Miami
McLaren, who have already kicked off the season as the third-fastest team, are aiming to progress even further by unveiling a range of new components in Miami this weekend.
The modifications made to the car include a completely overhauled front wing, floor, front suspension geometry, brake ducts, winglets, sidepod inlet, bodywork, and engine cover. Additionally, the louvre range and rear suspension have been updated. Furthermore, a Miami-specific beam wing has been added to meet the requirements of the circuit.
Mercedes has introduced minor floor and front suspension upgrades to the W15 for the Miami race, along with two circuit-specific modifications. Team principal Toto Wolff had previously announced that their initial updates for the season would be implemented in the United States.

An additional cooling inlet has been incorporated by Aston Martin in the AMR24 to provide drivers with increased airflow within the cockpit. Furthermore, specific modifications have been made to the front and rear wing, beam wing, and engine cover to tailor the vehicle for Miami conditions.
Red Bull have submitted one upgrade for the RB20 this weekend, bringing an update to the floor to reduce weight and improve reliability on their car.
In an effort to keep advancing, Williams plans to test a modified front wing during the Miami trial, while RB intends to utilize a fresh floor and diffuser setup.
For the inaugural United States race of the year, Sauber has introduced front and rear wings tailored specifically for Miami. Meanwhile, Haas has made an adjustment to their floor by including a small Gurney-flap, in an attempt to generate additional downforce from the VF-24 at their first race on home soil in 2024.
For the Miami Grand Prix, both Ferrari and Alpine opted not to present any upgrades, instead choosing to stick with the existing package they had prepared for this particular event.
