McLaren’s Lando Norris.
With Lando Norris at last off the mark, it seems his Miami Grand Prix victory celebrations will be mixed with attempts to change his flight.
Norris benefited from the opportune arrival of the Safety Car, allowing him to make a pit stop and rejoin the race in first place. However, he skillfully maintained his advantage without any assistance, distancing himself from Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who had led for the majority of the race. In the end, Norris triumphed in his inaugural Formula 1 victory with a comfortable lead of 7.6 seconds.
Lewis Hamilton urges Lando Norris to change his flight
After his remarkable feat, Norris received congratulations from numerous fellow F1 drivers. Hamilton, who had also secured his initial victory with the team in 2007, expressed his delight for his fellow countryman. Their resurgence to the top position was a highly appreciated spectacle.
Norris has big plans for his celebrations, and Hamilton insists that he changes his scheduled flight back home on the same day to fully enjoy them.
Hamilton expressed his genuine joy for Lando, stating, “I am truly delighted for him.”
“I just informed him that he must stay tonight as he plans to change his flight. It’s necessary because he recently emerged victorious in a race.”
“Winning your first grand prix is truly a special moment, especially since I began my career at McLaren. Seeing them reclaim their position at the top is incredibly satisfying after such a long time.”
