The primary concern for the Blue Bombers has been their offensive performance. In the previous season, they achieved an impressive CFL-leading average of 33.0 points per game. However, in 2024, they have struggled, only managing to score an average of 15.5 points per game, placing them at the bottom of the league. Additionally, the team coached by Mike O’Shea has consistently been outscored by an average of 9.5 points per game.

The Blue Bombers’ challenges commence with the underwhelming performance of quarterback Zach Collaros. The two-time Most Outstanding Player has been highly disappointing, completing only 35 of his 64 passes (54.7%) in his two starts. He has accumulated 494 passing yards, three interceptions, and has failed to score a touchdown.
