I will remain neutral for this game, but my strategy leans towards a specific result. Our support will be towards the under in this matchup. On May 25th, the Lynx completely outperformed the Liberty with a dominating 84-67 victory. The total points scored in that game were 167, which fell significantly short by an impressive 16 points.

I am avoiding taking a side in this game primarily because of New York’s revenge motivation. I don’t believe that the Liberty will play at a fast enough pace to disrupt Minnesota’s comfortable style of play. New York has the fifth fastest tempo in the league, whereas Minnesota has the second slowest. It will be intriguing to witness the rematch between the top-ranked defense and the top-ranked offense. In such situations, I always lean towards an elite defense.

Given that the total is still increasing, I recommend waiting until tip-off or monitoring it throughout the day. It wouldn’t be unexpected if it reaches 166.

Prediction: Lynx Win The Cup
