Despite the Panthers being back on their home turf, I find it challenging to place my trust in them any longer. Their track record of three failed attempts to secure victory in this series and clinch their first-ever Stanley Cup has left me skeptical.

Florida is not benefiting from returning home, as Edmonton has a strong track record of winning at Amerant Bank Arena, with a record of 13-4 in their last 17 visits. The Panthers’ struggles on special teams add to their difficulties, with a 0-for-10 performance on power plays in their last three losses and only a 76.9% success rate in penalty kills.

Sergei Bobrovsky’s performance has made it difficult to have faith in the Panthers. Despite starting the series strong, Bobrovsky’s numbers have drastically declined, with a 5.06 goals-against average and a .793 save percentage since Game 4.

During that period, Stuart Skinner has achieved a 1.67 GAA and a .942 SV% for reference.

The Panthers will struggle to win tonight if Sergei Bobrovsky’s struggles continue.
