Royce Lewis has been stellar in just 14 games this season.

With the return of Royce Lewis to an already formidable lineup, the Twins’ offensive prowess is set to reach new heights.
Lewis has played just 14 games so far this season, returning from injury on June 4th. Since returning to the lineup, Lewis is batting 0.380 with 8 home runs and 12 RBI. He’s exceeded expectations, to say the least.
Royce is batting 0.333 against right handed pitchers, posting a 0.861 SLG; with 6 of his 8 home runs coming against righties. He’s batting 0.394 at home this season and 5 of his 8 home runs have come at Target Field.
On the bump for the Rays is seventh year pitcher Zack Littell. He’s posted a 4.24 ERA this season but he’s given up 6+ hits in his 5 of his L6 games, also giving up 7 home runs in that same span.
In addition, his performance against right-handed batters has resulted in a batting average of 0.309, and he has recorded a 5.40 ERA when playing away games this season. We have confidence in Royce to continue his impressive form today, and we eagerly await to see if he can deliver a home run tonight.
