The RB17 was unveiled by Red Bull.
Red Bull have pulled the covers off the RB17, the hypercar led by chief technical officer Adrian Newey that will be his final design project with the team.
With great anticipation, the £5 million machine will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Sussex. This car has captured immense attention as Newey incorporates numerous Formula 1 innovations into a road-worthy vehicle.

A limited production of 50 cars is planned, with a retail price of £5 million per car. Due to high demand, it is anticipated that a significant number of cars have already been pre-ordered.
According to the team, the car, weighing less than 900 kilograms, boasts a powerful combination of a 1,200 horsepower engine, a naturally aspirated V10 with 1,000bhp, and a 200bhp electric motor. They claim that this setup can achieve top speeds exceeding 350kph (217mph), while the engine reaches its peak at 15,000rpm.
Red Bull say every RB17 will be “bespoke” for each buyer, with paint colour, interior design and finer details all part of the choices available to each person who buys an RB17 model – with Newey having said previously that, in the hands of a professional driver, he hopes the car will be capable of Formula 1 level lap times.
“We are thrilled to announce the unveiling of the RB17 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This project represents one of the most genuine and exhilarating ventures undertaken by Red Bull Advanced Technologies thus far,” expressed Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull.
Having accumulated a 20-year legacy in the realm of F1 and being a performance-driven entity, it was only logical for us to create our own Hypercar from scratch.
