The Encore Learn to Play program, a new summer hockey program, is being launched by the Anaheim Ducks in partnership with the Fullerton School District. This program is specifically designed for local students in grades 3 through 6 who are enrolled in the Encore Expanded Learning Program, and it comes at no cost to them.

Over 40 students will be given the chance to experience ice hockey for the first time through the Encore Learn to Play program. This program is made possible by the Anaheim Ducks Foundation and the Ducks S.C.O.R.E. program. Taking place at The Rinks – Anaheim ICE, the co-educational program will consist of five on-ice sessions throughout the month of July.

The Anaheim Ducks and the Anaheim Ducks Foundation are dedicated to supporting educational and athletic opportunities for children in the community. This partnership with the Fullerton School District demonstrates the Ducks’ commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of local students. Established in 2005, the Anaheim Ducks S.C.O.R.E. program aims to positively influence young people in schools and hockey communities across Southern California. By using hockey as a tool, the S.C.O.R.E. program teaches educational concepts, promotes healthy and active lifestyles, emphasizes the importance of building positive character, and rewards students for their academic achievements. Each year, S.C.O.R.E. impacts over 65,000 students, providing educators with affordable alternatives to expensive programs.
