Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall weigh in for Leeds headliner

JOSH TAYLOR and Jack Catterall both weighed in without issue ahead of their 140-pound clash in Leeds tomorrow evening. A vibrant crowd yelled and jeered as the pair stepped on the scales.

Both men looked in prime nick as they faced off, chatting with each other. The underlying threat that it might spill over always hummed in the background.

Given his size and age, Josh Taylor, a former undisputed king at this weight, had been expected to move up to welterweight.

Despite losing to Teofimo Lopez last year, he has remained at super-lightweight and needs a big performance against Catterall, who is still seething from the decision in their 2022 clash.

“That’s all the talking done now, I’m fully focused,” said Catterall (above). “Nothing really being said. Handbags really. We’re both ready to fight now.”
