Rockies @ Reds Analysis & Breakdown

This year, Elly De La Cruz is the top MLB leader in stolen bases with a remarkable total of 45. Following closely behind is Brice Turang from the Brewers, securing the second position with 29 stolen bases.

The Reds and Rockies have not been elite by any metric this year. Cincinnati enters this game 5 games below 0.500 and sitting 5th in the NL Central. 

The Rockies’ performance hasn’t improved at all, as they currently hold a record of 33-60 and are positioned at the bottom of their division. In the previous game, Gomber pitched for 5.1 innings, allowing 5 hits, 5 runs, and 3 home runs. The Reds lineup from the previous season was notably weak, with Joey Votto still being a consistent starter during that time.
