Although Tsunoda is often criticized as a favor from Red Bull to their engine partner Honda, his performances this season have proven that he is an extremely skilled driver.

The connection between Honda and Aston Martin is quite intriguing, especially considering that Honda will be switching to Aston Martin starting in 2026. There have been rumors circulating about Tsunoda potentially joining the Silverstone-based team.

Tsunoda stated that he has not initiated any negotiations with Red Bull regarding his current deal, which was signed last year.

He informed the media, including PlanetF1.com, in Imola that he hasn’t come across any information within Red Bull yet. Therefore, he hasn’t tested anything and remains uncertain about the current situation.

It would be great if I continue with Red Bull, but honestly, even their sister team RB is in excellent condition. So, staying at RB would also be great for me.

It is essential to consider the future as well, as one never knows what possibilities may arise with a truly captivating offer.

“Clearly, I have been a member of the Red Bull family since a young age, and naturally, I wish to remain with them for as long as I can. I genuinely sense their support, and therefore, I am motivated to continue delivering positive outcomes.”

Regarding the speculation about interest from other teams, Tsunoda mentioned that there haven’t been any concrete developments so far. However, he expressed his gratitude for the flattering acknowledgment.

“The 24-year-old expressed that they are not currently pondering over that matter. They viewed it as a positive aspect that instills confidence, noting the stark contrast it holds compared to previous years.”

“There is certainly increased interest from other teams, aligning with my goal of enjoying myself and demonstrating my worth as a driver to potential teams.”
