Highlights! Bruno Silva delivers massive uppercut knockout for incredible comeback | UFC Vegas 94

Bruno Silva delivered a big comeback victory earlier tonight (Sat., July 20, 2024) at UFC Vegas 94 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, stopping ranked flyweight Cody Durden with a massive second-round TKO (punches and elbows).

Although the odds were tight at the beginning, Durden quickly took the lead with superior offense and a versatile attack. Silva, who had not competed since March 2023 when he secured a submission victory against Tyson Name, started showing signs of cage rust. Silva’s slow initiation allowed Durden to take charge of the match.

In the beginning of the second round, Durden took control by executing a skillful takedown and maintaining top position. Nevertheless, Silva displayed immense determination and managed to regain his footing, delivering a devastating uppercut that forcefully propelled Durden’s mouthguard into the fence. This blow inflicted significant damage on Durden, leaving him severely injured as Silva swiftly approached to unleash a series of powerful strikes on the ground. Eventually, Durden succumbed to the onslaught, causing the referee to intervene. Durden’s injuries were quite severe, leaving him visibly battered and bruised.
