Golden Boy and Top Rank agree partnership with Riyadh Season

Today, it was revealed that Riyadh Season will collaborate with two prominent promotional companies in America, further amplifying the expanding impact of Turki Alalshikh’s influence.

After successfully establishing strong partnerships with Matchroom and Queensberry Promotions, resulting in notable fights such as Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia, Alalshikh is eager to extend his ventures to the United States.

In the February 8 issue of Boxing News Alalshikh topped our list of the 50 Most Influential In Boxing. We wrote: “At the time of writing, there is no one man more influential in this sport than the Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh.” Five months on and he is still in that position.

As Riyadh Season prepares to make its American debut on August 3 at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, featuring the highly anticipated match between Israil Madrimov and Terence Crawford, now is the perfect opportunity for them to expand their presence and create a significant impact internationally.

Golden Boy Promotions announced in a press release that their collaboration with Riyadh Season aims to enhance the promotion of high-profile boxing events worldwide. The partnership will commence on August 10 in Las Vegas, as Vergil Ortiz Jr takes on Serhii Bohachuk for the WBC super-welterweight interim belt.

Top Rank has announced that their partnership with Riyad Season aims to further promote world-class boxing events on a global scale. They have disclosed that Riyadh Season will sponsor 12 Top Rank events, carefully chosen by promoter Bob Arum, for the upcoming years of 2021 and extending till 2025.

On September 21, for the first time, Riyadh Season will make its way to the UK. Matchroom and Queensberry have collaborated to present a thrilling six-fight card at Wembley Stadium. The highlight of the evening will be the highly anticipated IBF heavyweight world title bout featuring Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua.
