The wait is almost over for Naoya Inoue and Luis Nery

Both NAOYA Inoue and Luis Nery successfully met the weight requirement for their Tokyo Dome fight tomorrow. In the past, Nery had difficulty making weight in Japan when he faced Shinsuke Yamanaka in 2018, but this time he had no issues and fulfilled the necessary criteria for this significant opportunity.

Sky Sports and ESPN+ televise the key portion of the card, affording a wider variety of fight fans the chance to enjoy one of the top pound-for-pound talents in action. Lethal to the body, Inoue is used to getting his business done quickly, and if Nery starts slowly, as has been the case in previous fights, then the curtain could close in the blink of an eye. Each fighter appeared healthy and comfortable at the weigh-in.

A packed undercard showcases three world title fights, with Jason Moloney, one of the Moloney brothers, defending his WBO bantamweight championship. The bond between brothers remains strong as Takuma Inoue also defends his WBA bantamweight title, joining his sibling in the supporting cast.

Seigo Yuri Akui defends his WBA flyweight title, while Irishman TJ Doheny takes on Bryl Bayogos in an eight-round match. Both fighters successfully made weight, coming in under the 122-pound limit.
