It has been reported that Aston Martin has made a lucrative offer to Adrian Newey in hopes of recruiting him.
Aston Martin technical director Dan Fallows admitted Adrian Newey would be “an asset to any team” as and when he chooses his next step in Formula 1.
Fallows served as a key figure within Red Bull for 15 years, stepping up to become head of aerodynamics in 2014 and working directly with Newey in that time before he was signed for Aston Martin ahead of the 2022 season.

Reports suggest that Aston Martin, Ferrari, and Williams are all vying to secure the services of Newey for the upcoming season.
Fallows commended his ex-boss for the impressive influence he had over him, expressing keen interest in closely observing his future actions, whatever they may involve.
Fallows, speaking to various media outlets including PlanetF1.com in Imola, expressed that he gained an extensive amount of knowledge from Adrian.
He possesses extensive experience from a time when designers had the opportunity to be involved in numerous aspects of the car.
“He possesses extensive knowledge about cars in their entirety, and I believe that individuals like us who have grown up with specific expertise sometimes overlook the importance of ensuring that every task aligns with the overall functioning of the car. This realization was one of the significant lessons I learned.”
I find it intriguing to observe his next actions. It has been suggested that he might take a short break, which I believe is well-deserved if he chooses to do so.

Fallows stated that there is no doubt that Adrian would be a valuable addition to any team, even if they already have an established technical structure in place.
After wrapping up his contributions to the RB17 hypercar project, featuring numerous groundbreaking Formula 1 advancements, Newey is set to bid farewell to Red Bull in early 2025, thereby becoming an unrestricted professional.
For his own future, Newey admitted himself that he cannot foresee himself retiring, with his own family connection and chats with former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and legendary US team owner Roger Penske helping him on his way to a decision.
At an event for Oyster Yachts, he expressed, “Since I was about eight or 10 years old, I’ve harbored the desire to work as a designer in motor racing. Fortunately, I’ve been able to achieve that aspiration by landing my first job in this field, and I’ve been immersed in motor racing ever since. Every day feels like an unexpected gift to me.”
“I absolutely adore my work. However, I suppose I’ll eventually take a break. Like Forrest Gump, who said ‘I feel a bit weary right now’ after his lengthy run, I too might feel a bit tired momentarily, but I’ll likely dive back in at some point.”
