Lando Norris makes his mark, literally, as Zak Brown commemorates Miami GP win

McLaren’s Lando Norris.

Zak Brown has added to his tattoo collection with new ink to mark Lando Norris’ Miami Grand Prix victory, and he even trusted his driver with the tattoo gun.

Joining McLaren back in 2016, Brown had to wait a few years before the team under his leadership recorded their first win with Daniel Ricciardo P1 at the 2021 Italian Grand Prix.

Zak Brown: Yep, I did it again!

The CEO commemorated the occasion by getting a tattoo of the Monza circuit on his upper arm.

After Norris powered to victory at the Miami Grand Prix, surpassing Max Verstappen and reaching the chequered flag, he has transitioned from being one to now being two, marking his first-ever Grand Prix win.

It appears that Brown not only has faith in his driver’s abilities on the track, but also when it comes to getting tattoos.

To celebrate Norris’ triumph, he decided to get a fresh tattoo depicting the Miami Autodrome. What’s more, he generously allowed the Briton to contribute to the artwork by doing some of the ink himself.

“Indeed, I have done it once more!” he proudly declared on X, previously referred to as Twitter.

“We are commemorating our victory in Miami and celebrating Lando’s inaugural F1 triumph with yet another tattoo.”

“I must admit, the experience was just as excruciating as the initial one. Fortunately, Lando was present to provide me with all the support I required… not!”

Although the Miami victory marked Norris’ inaugural win, he aspires to achieve more victories throughout the season.

“I feel like every weekend, at the moment, we are getting closer and it’s hard to resist saying no,” shared the 24-year-old during an interview with Sky Sports before the Canadian Grand Prix.

I will never claim, “Yes, this is my weekend,” but I am certain that in the past few weekends, we have shown that we are in a strong competition with Red Bull and Ferrari.

I believe we stand a good chance. Our team is performing exceptionally well, including myself. As a collective unit, we have great confidence heading into every weekend.

There is a possibility that Brown will receive additional recognition before the conclusion of this championship.
