Williams driver Logan Sargeant.
Logan Sargeant has clarified that his Formula 1 future is “comfortable for now”, amid reports that his seat is on the line for next season.
Reports emerged earlier this week that are heavily linking Valtteri Bottas with a move back to Williams for 2025, with PlanetF1.com understanding those claims to be verified.

Sargeant is under contract until the end of the year, but with the Williams seat available at the start of next season, multiple drivers have been linked with the drive, and team principal James Vowles hinted at news on their 2025 line-up in the coming weeks, admitting Sargeant is “at risk” of losing his seat.
Despite being presented with previous reports linking Mercedes junior Andrea Kimi Antonelli to the drive recently, Sergeant himself is disregarding them and prioritizing the task at hand.
Sargeant addressed the media, including PlanetF1.com, in Imola and expressed his belief that one should prioritize oneself and not pay heed to rumors when it comes to others being associated with his seat.
Despite finding it somewhat dull, I continue to strive for improvement with each passing round as I am more aware of what is happening behind the scenes.

When asked about his knowledge of his position at Williams, he simply stated, “I’m currently content and committed to continually enhancing my performance.”
Currently, my focus is primarily on the upcoming races within the near future. I plan to assess the next three or four rounds and proceed accordingly. In case any issues arise, I am confident that I will be the first to become aware of them.
Sargeant is looking forward to his upcoming opportunity to make an impression at the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. He is eager to apply the valuable lessons he learned during his rookie year at a distinctive track, and hopes to showcase his skills around the Principality.
In response to a question from PlanetF1.com, he stated, “When reflecting on Monaco last year, I believe we had the capability to do well in qualifying. However, we encountered difficulties during the race.”
I believe that last year provided us with a valuable learning opportunity, giving us a better understanding of what to anticipate. With this knowledge, we can now make efforts to effectively address any challenges that may come our way.
However, let’s avoid overthinking and simply focus on reaching our destination. Once we arrive, we can assess the situation and adapt accordingly.
