Highlights! Hyder Amil scores wild standing knockout with 38-punch combination | UFC Vegas 94

Undefeated featherweight prospect Hyder Amil lit the Octagon ablaze earlier tonight (Sat., July 20, 2024) at UFC Vegas 94 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, stopping Jeong Yeong Lee with a blistering standing TKO (punches).

The preliminary fights were quite dull, making fans eager for the ESPN main card to deliver a better start. Thankfully, the matchmakers made the perfect decision by pairing Amil against Lee. Without wasting much time, the two featherweights engaged in an intense battle, going all out.

Amil gradually gained the upper hand against Lee in close quarters, unleashing a powerful combination that left a significant impact. The UFC broadcast team later verified that Amil successfully connected with 38 consecutive punches. This onslaught proved overwhelming for Lee, who found himself trapped against the cage, ultimately prompting the referee to intervene and declare a rare standing knockout stoppage.

Amil, aged 34, continues to dominate in the Octagon with a flawless 2-0 record and an impressive overall record of 10-0 since turning professional in 2017. Lee, who had a strong reputation in South Korea, was unable to withstand Amil’s relentless pressure and barrage of punches from the very beginning. In a remarkable display of skill, “The Hurricane” swiftly finished the fight in just 65 seconds, positioning himself favorably as he approaches the end of 2024.
