Jake Paul calls out Mike Tyson for new Nov. 15 fight date: ‘Sign the contract!’

One Mike has been completed, one Mike remains.

Jake Paul battered a significantly smaller “Platinum” Mike Perry en route to a sixth round TKO victory on Saturday night (highlights here). And despite all the noise about an Alex Pereira fight or a Conor McGregor fight, the next name up is another Mike: “Iron” Mike Tyson.

If Tyson signs a contract, the new scheduled date for Paul and Tyson’s boxing match, which was initially planned for July 20th in front of 60,000 spectators at AT&T Stadium, will be November 15th.

“In the wake of his victory, Paul confidently called out Mike Tyson, proclaiming, ‘Big boy, it’s your turn next.’ He then invited Tyson to sign the contract for their anticipated match, scheduled for November 15 on Netfix.”

There’s little doubt Tyson will indeed sign a contract for the new date now that Paul has trounced Perry. The heavyweight boxing legend was apparently worried that “The Problem Child” might drop the ball and lose to “Platinum,” screwing up their superfight. That didn’t happen, so it’s full steam ahead … barring any more health problems for the 58 year old.

Paul expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, expressing his intentions to go home and make the necessary preparations. He eagerly mentioned the date, November 15, and highlighted Mike Tyson’s return to training, noting his heightened intensity. Paul confidently stated his goal to achieve another knockout victory and defy the doubters once more. Despite facing criticism for accepting this fight and the perceived risks involved, he emphasized his willingness to take bold chances, showcasing his determination.

Paul will face a challenge in the upcoming months as he tries to strike a delicate balance between generating excitement for the fight and showing respect towards Tyson. If he approaches it incorrectly, it may appear as if he is eagerly anticipating assaulting an elderly man. However, he also has the task of promoting this as a genuine fight, rather than a watered-down exhibition with no significant action.

“Mike, I have deep affection for you, but this sport belongs to me,” expressed Jake. “You are an icon, undeniably one of the two most renowned boxers in history alongside Muhammad Ali. It is a privilege to step into the ring with you. I am incredibly honored, truly. However, my goal is to surpass your legacy, my dear brother, and claim your throne.”
