Jake Paul sent a nasty message to Dana White during Friday’s ceremonial weigh ins for his upcoming boxing match against former Ultimate Fighting Championship standout, Mike Perry.
This weekend’s clash between Paul and Perry will be an interesting one. Paul was hoping to get his hands on Mike Tyson this month in a massive showdown on Netflix, but the boxing gods had other plans. Perry was called upon to step in for a medically-unfit Tyson and will do his best to become the first fighter to stop Paul.
Throughout his boxing career, the social media sensation has faced and triumphed over several renowned combat veterans. Among those he has defeated are former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley, as well as the standout star Nate Diaz. Although fight fans eagerly anticipate his transition to competing against promising young boxers in his own age bracket, “Problem Child” continues to lucratively dominate against some of the most prominent rejects from the UFC.
Paul took the opportunity on Friday to publicly challenge White and other ex-UFC fighters who believe they can defeat him in a boxing match. Additionally, Paul asserted that if Perry manages to defeat him this weekend, White will extend a contract offer for his return to the UFC.
Guess the two will never be friends.

During his onstage interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul confidently declared, “If I can knock him out, Dana White himself promised me a UFC contract. But let me tell you something, Dana. You can tear that damn contract apart because I’m going to utterly destroy Mike Perry.”
“I guarantee you, no matter who you send my way, be it any of your MMA fighters, they will be utterly defeated. They have been persistently attempting to eliminate me, clearly harboring a deep resentment towards my presence in this sport. They despise my dominance over it.”
Paul vs. Perry will go down later this evening (Sat., July 20, 2024) live on DAZN PPV from inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., and serve as the main event. “Problem Child” is currently slated as the betting favorite to win the “Fear No Man” matchup, but Perry is 6-0 since leaving UFC back in 2021 so anything is possible.
