Mike Perry will square off with Jake Paul inside the boxing ring tomorrow evening (Sat., July 20, 2024) live on DAZN PPV from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., but “Platinum” will first host a special announcement press conference Friday night from inside MP Studios.
The topic of Perry’s upcoming discussion remains a mystery, yet the ex-UFC contender and present bareknuckle boxing sensation has an important announcement to make. Speculations are circulating that “Platinum” might be initiating his own fighting organization, although media personnel were only informed about the provision of “subs & cold brews.”
The special announcement press conference is expected to begin at 8:30 p.m. ET, which can be seen in the above video player.
After leaving UFC in 2021, Perry has achieved an impressive 5-0 record in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). He now has the opportunity to become the first fighter to defeat Paul. Despite being smaller and having some limitations in his striking abilities, Perry’s exceptional conditioning and strong chin should give Paul a tough challenge throughout the match.
