Midnight Mania! ‘Platinum’ Perry accuses Jake Paul of using steroid ‘cheat code’

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Mike Perry is set to box Jake Paul on July 20th, and he’ll face the largest “Problem Child” anyone’s ever had to face in the ring.

The 230 pound Paul was adding on weight in preparation for a heavyweight fight against Mike Tyson. That’s been delayed until November, and now “Platinum” will be the one dealing with all of Jake’s extra muscle when they compete at cruiserweight for eight rounds.

During a recent interview with FightHub TV, Perry was questioned about Paul’s noticeable increase in size and whether he had any suspicions about the YouTuber’s use of performance-enhancing substances.

Perry responded by saying, “Back when I sparred with him a few years ago, I weighed around 180 pounds while he was around 195, maybe even 205. I believe he was preparing to face Ben Askren at 190 pounds, so he probably wasn’t actively trying to shed weight at that time. It’s quite baffling to think how someone can put on 25 pounds without using any shortcuts or tricks.”

He added, “My opinion holds no significance. I might simply be uttering those words to tease him. After all, he does appear rather flubbery.”

Perry stated that there were no specific drug testing protocols established for the match.

He mentioned that he hasn’t undergone any testing yet. He anticipates that the Florida Commission will conduct tests for all of us during fight week, possibly multiple times for him. It’s likely that they will have a test after weigh-ins or at some point like that. He’s confident that there will be a test on fight night when he enters the ring.

Typically, most commissions conduct drug testing to this extent. It takes someone quite foolish to be caught when they are aware of being tested on the day of the fight.

Since “Platinum” doesn’t seem to care one bit, perhaps we should leave speculation where it belongs: on body building forums or the More Plates More Dates discord.

Gotta keep your athlete calm!

Good cornerwork matters. How would you react if your coach did this?

I’d be willing to spend actual money to witness a debate between Georges St. Pierre and Johnny Walker on the topic of dinosaurs and their impending demise.

You can’t help but appreciate this level of aggression shown in retaliation to a low kick.
