UFC removes commentary from Conor McGregor’s violent Khabib loss so you can hear ‘Eagle’s’ crazy rants (Video)

Khabib Nurmagomedov had a lot to say at UFC 229 back in late 2018.

Unfortunately, some (but not all) of it was drowned out by the incessant chatter from the cageside commentary team, led by play-by-play man Jon Anik, along with former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and longtime color commentator Joe Rogan.

Until now.

The promotion has been showcasing a sequence of “Muted” fights, where the commentary has been removed from the cage-fighting matches, allowing only the raw sounds from inside the Octagon to be heard, accompanied by the enthusiastic reactions of the live audience.

Khabib defeated McGregor by fourth-round submission to retain the lightweight title.

This week’s “Muted” clip also showcases the light heavyweight rematch between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka, which headlined the UFC 303 fight card back on June 29 in Las Vegas. “Poatan” won by second-round technical knockout.

Don’t be surprised to see McGregor complain about this clip on social media (again).
