All 32 players chosen in the initial round of the 2023 NHL Draft harbor aspirations of making it to the NHL. Several have taken a step towards accomplishing this objective by securing a three-year, entry-level contract.
We anticipate that more people will be able to join us as we progress through the 2024-25 season.
Here’s an update on the signed players and the current status of the others.
1. Macklin Celebrini, C, San Jose Sharks
Signed entry-level contract July 6. Could play with Sharks or San Jose of the American Hockey League
2. Artyom Levshunov, D, Chicago Blackhawks
Signed entry-level contract July 6. Could play with Blackhawks or Rockford of the American Hockey League
3. Beckett Sennecke, RW, Anaheim Ducks
Signed entry-level contract July 5. Expected to play for Oshawa of the Ontario Hockey League
4. Cayden Lindstrom, C, Columbus Blue Jackets (unsigned)
It is anticipated that he will be participating as a player for the Medicine Hat team in the Western Hockey League.
5. Ivan Demidov, RW, Montreal Canadiens (unsigned)
He will be a player for SKA St. Petersburg in the Kontinental Hockey League.
6. Tij Iginla, C, Utah Hockey Club
Signed entry-level contract July 11. Expected to play for Kelowna of the WHL
7. Carter Yakemchuk, D, Ottawa Senators (unsigned)
Calgary of the WHL is anticipating their participation.
8. Berkly Catton, C, Seattle Kraken
Signed entry-level contract July 5. Expected to play for Spokane of the WHL
9. Zayne Parekh, D, Calgary Flames
Signed entry-level contract July 5. Expected to play for Saginaw of OHL
10. Anton Silayev, D, New Jersey Devils (unsigned)
I will be joining Nizhny Novgorod in the KHL.

Anticipated participation in sports at the University of North Dakota.
