Bridgestone Arena Ranks Seventh in the United States for Ticket Sales

Nashville, Tenn. (July 9, 2024) – Bridgestone Arena ranks seventh in the United States for ticket sales and 16th in the world for gross revenue according to the international publication Pollstar’s 2024 Mid-Year Report. From Nov. 16, 2023, through May 15, 2024, Bridgestone Area sold 458,998 tickets and grossed $40,457,300 in total revenue (inclusive solely of show and concert tickets).

According to David Kells, Chief Venues Officer of the Nashville Predators, it is thrilling to witness Bridgestone Arena maintain its position as one of the top venues in the country for live events and a global frontrunner in ticket sales. This achievement is a direct reflection of our exceptional staff’s dedication in providing the ultimate experience for both fans and performers in Nashville. In terms of ticket sales, Bridgestone Arena holds a position alongside renowned venues such as Madison Square Garden (New York, N.Y.), Dickies Arena (Fort Worth, Texas), Barclays Center (Brooklyn, N.Y.), TD Garden (Boston, Mass.), Moody Center (Austin, Texas), and Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia, Penn.).

From November 16, 2023, to May 15, 2024, Bridgestone Arena held a total of 87 events, which included hockey games. Noteworthy highlights during this period were the presence of at least 10 events each month for five months, three Stanley Cup Playoff games, and the hosting of the SEC Men’s Basketball Championship. Additionally, the arena showcased concerts by renowned country artists such as Old Dominion, Cody Johnson, Billy Strings, Sam Hunt, Dan + Shay, Tim McGraw, and two nights of Tyler Childers. Furthermore, there were multi-night performances by Drake and J. Cole, and tour stops by esteemed artists Kevin Gates, Travis Scott, Disturbed, Olivia Rodrigo, and Bad Bunny. Lastly, Bridgestone Arena also had the privilege of hosting the benefit concert All For The Hall, in support of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

The nominating committee consists of industry leaders from various aspects of the entertainment business, such as arena managers, artists, artist managers, agents, and promoters from both national and international backgrounds.

Bridgestone Arena, which opened its doors in 1996, has become a bustling hub for national and international events. Throughout its years of operation, it has welcomed over 27 million guests, solidifying its position as one of the busiest venues in the United States. The arena’s remarkable track record is demonstrated by its impressive 16 consecutive and 19 overall nominations for the Pollstar Magazine Arena Year of the Award. Notably, it secured victories in 2014, 2017, and even a projected win in 2023. Additionally, the venue has been honored as the Academy of Country Music Venue of the Year seven times, most recently in 2024.
