The LA Kings have a strong dedication to the progress and expansion of female hockey. Despite being in a predominantly male sport, we actively encourage the development of female hockey both in and outside the ice rink. Girls hockey has experienced remarkable growth, with a 65% increase in participation over the last 15 seasons in the United States. To contribute to this growth, we organize various programs such as camps, clinics, and events that cater to all age groups. Our aim is to create more female role models on the ice, inspiring young girl hockey players.

In line with our values of inclusivity and equity, we strive to create an environment where female coaches and referees thrive. To further this mission, we’ve partnered with USA Hockey to offer an empowering opportunity for women: The LA Kings Women’s Coaches and Referee Level 1 Certification. This fantastic program is completely free for women ages 18 and older who hold a current USA Hockey membership.

Join us in shaping the future of female hockey by taking advantage of the Level 1 Coach and Referee Certification Classes taught by USA Hockey experts. Participants will receive the Coaches Certificate and Referee Certificate, valued at over $100, with the fees covered by USA Hockey and the Los Angeles Kings if completed both days. Additionally, SuperFd will provide complimentary lunch on both program days as an added treat. • Classroom Sessions:

• Gain knowledge from experts in USA Hockey during the classroom sessions.

• On-Ice Session (Sunday, August 25th):

• Hit the ice from 11:00am- 12:00pm.
