Maple Leafs Sign Forward Connor Dewar
Today, the Toronto Maple Leafs made an official announcement regarding the signing of forward Connor Dewar to a one-year contract worth $1.18 million.
In the previous season, Dewar, aged 25, achieved a total of 14 points (10 goals and four assists) in 57 games with the Minnesota Wild before being obtained by Toronto. During his time with the Maple Leafs, Dewar managed to score five points (one goal and four assists) in 17 games, and he also contributed with one assist in six playoff games. Throughout his NHL career, the 5’10”, 183-pound forward has accumulated a total of 43 points (19 goals and 24 assists) in 190 regular season games, playing for both Minnesota and Toronto. Additionally, he has recorded one assist in 13 playoff games.
In the 2018 NHL Draft, the Pas, MB native was initially chosen by Minnesota in the third round at the 92nd overall pick.
