Jadon Sancho made his comeback after 11 months away from the field. Leny Yoro, recently signed from Lille, showcased his talent after being unexpectedly placed in the starting lineup. Additionally, Amad Diallo stole the spotlight in an exhilarating first-half performance, which culminated in a goal, leaving United fans in awe.

Several young players got a chance to showcase their skills during the game, and two of them joined forces to score United’s second goal. Joe Hugill struck the ball into the net from underneath the crossbar, assisted by Maxi Oyedele.
