Amakhosi’s pre-season results and Katsande’s vote of confidence are not enough to convince most South African fans that they can challenge ‘Downs for the title.

Recently, former Kaizer Chiefs vice-captain Willard Katsande claimed Amakhosi can exploit Mamelodi Sundowns' technical team changes to go all the way and claim the Premier Soccer League.

Coach Rhulani Mokwena, who recently joined the esteemed Wydad Athletic Club in Morocco, bid farewell to Masandwana at the start of July.

Katsande contended that the players shared a positive bond with the 37-year-old and that it might require some time before they reach their peak performance under the guidance of the new coaching staff.

However, a majority of Mzansi soccer fans seem to see things differently and here are their reactions as sampled by GOAL.
