Diego Luna, the prominent player from Real Salt Lake, was overlooked, whereas Duncan McGuire from Orlando City was awarded the coveted No. 9 position for the Paris Games.

In just a short time, the Paris Olympic Games will commence. It is worth noting that this will be the first occurrence since 2008 where both the U.S. men’s and women’s programs will partake in the tournament. Scheduled to start in late July in Paris.

The U23 USMNT coach, Marko Mitrovic, unveiled his roster on Monday, which features the inclusion of three experienced players. Defenders Miles Robinson and Walker Zimmerman, along with midfielder Djordje Mihailovic, will bring a seasoned presence to the team. These veterans will be accompanied by a group of emerging talents, forming a formidable U.S. squad for the upcoming summer.

Duncan McGuire is being highly regarded for a significant tournament, while Benjamin Cremaschi from Inter Miami is also gaining a lot of confidence. Nevertheless, the team’s lineup appears unbalanced with noticeable gaps and important players missing.
