The Diamondbacks have successfully built momentum leading up to the All-Star break. They have a 10-5 record in their last 15 games, and even managed to win four consecutive outings before their recent 8-7 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

On the other hand, the Cubs displayed a strong performance leading up to the pause, emerging victorious in eight out of their last eleven games. Notably, they secured wins against formidable opponents like the Philadelphia Phillies and Baltimore Orioles, underscoring that Chicago should not be underestimated.

Not only has Arizona allowed the Over in five of its last seven games, but opponents are averaging 4.8 runs in Nelson’s last four starts.
