The Royals continue to thrive with a record of 8-2 in their last 10 games, showcasing their consistent success. Under Matt Quataro’s leadership, the team has triumphed in four consecutive matches, outscoring their opponents with an impressive average of 5.0 runs per game. Additionally, Kansas City boasts a remarkable 52.4% success rate against NL teams this season, while Arizona has only managed to defeat 43.3% of its AL opponents.

However, we cannot overlook the fact that the Diamondbacks have had a 6-3 SU record in their previous nine encounters with the Royals.

However, despite the trend, it is hard to question the Royals’ performance. They have a record of 5-1 straight up and an average run margin of plus-3.3 in their last six home games.

Can the Diamondbacks put an end to the Royals’ hot streak at Kauffman Stadium?

However, the Diamondbacks will face considerable challenges in securing a victory if Jordan Montgomery fails to deliver a strong performance. With that in mind, I’m taking Royals o4.5 total runs for my best team bet. The Diamondbacks tend to allow a ton of offense when Montgomery plays, surrendering an average of 7.5 runs in his last six appearances. Meanwhile, the Over is 3-1 in Kansas City’s four games since the All-Star Break and 7-3 in its last 10 games overall.

Assuming there are no unexpected events, the Royals’ offense is expected to perform well tonight.
