Georgia surprisingly defeated Portugal to secure a spot in the knockout round, while Denmark will be a formidable opponent for the 16th ranked hosts. On the left side of the bracket, there are 4 teams ranked within the Top 10 and a total of 6 teams within the Top 20 in the world.

The “Easy” Side

Turning to the other side, Romania emerged victorious in their group, and their prize as the 47th ranked team? A match against the 7th ranked Dutch, who are confident of an easy victory leading to the Semifinals. Personally, I strongly support the Dutch in this game, and I would also love to see them seek revenge against Austria, provided the Group Winner overcomes Turkey.

In conclusion, the upcoming match between England and Slovakia, with Slovakia advancing as the 3rd seed in their Group and ranking 45th, is highly anticipated. Both teams finished with 4 points. If England performs well, they will go on to face the winner of the Switzerland vs Italy match. I am filled with excitement for this thrilling opening matchup of the EURO Round of 16. The Swiss team, ranked 19th, is eager to challenge the defending EURO Champions, who are ranked 10th.

You guys can check me here if you want, but in my EURO 2024 Preview, I said there were three teams I liked are early future winners.

• England (+300) now (+350)
• Spain (+800) now (+450)
• Netherlands (+1800) now (+1200)

I stand firmly behind my previous predictions, as I believe Spain will emerge victorious, lifting the cup after defeating the Netherlands with a score of 2-1 within regular playtime.

Generally speaking, and with numerous assumptions taken into account, I present a summary of my projected progression for the bracket.

EURO 2024 Bracket Predictions

In my opinion, Spain and Germany are effectively dealing with their opponents, although Denmark puts up a strong fight. Ultimately, Spain emerges victorious and moves on to the Semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, Portugal sails through easily, while the outcome of the France versus Belgium match remains uncertain. I slightly lean towards France due to the issues Belgium faced during the Group Stage. I believe Portugal, led by Ronaldo, will overcome Kylian Mbappe and reach the Semifinals, setting up a clash with Spain. Ultimately, I have faith in Spain’s ability to prevail in this matchup.

Regarding the “less strong” section of the bracket, I predict that the Netherlands and Austria will compete in the Quarterfinals, with the Dutch team seeking revenge and emerging victorious. In my opinion, England will defeat Slovakia, but will then face defeat against either Switzerland or Italy in the Quarterfinals. England’s performance has not been impressive, their manager seems disoriented, and I believe both the Swiss and Italians are playing superior soccer. Therefore, I don’t believe England will be able to claim victory this year.

I have a slight preference for Switzerland over Italy, as I found their performance in the Group Stage more impressive. Nevertheless, I believe either Switzerland or Italy will defeat England before ultimately losing to the Netherlands in the Semifinals. The Dutch team faced stiff competition in their group but managed to advance, and now they are well-prepared to make a strong run in the EURO. Their solid defensive line gives them a good chance of progressing far in this tournament.

As I mentioned earlier, Spain has been my unwavering support since the beginning, and they continue to demonstrate their superiority as the top team in the EURO tournament. Therefore, there is no reason for me to cease my unwavering support for them now.
