Our official start to the MLB Season may have come a couple months later than everyone else, but we’re off to a great start. Chriss Bassitt went 8 innings deep for the Blue Jays last night, and he needed every single inning to get us those seven strikeouts.

Cortes has been dominant at home this season, maintaining an impressive 1.12 ERA and striking out 40 batters in 40 innings of work. However, his performance on the road has been lackluster, with a disappointing 6.17 ERA and zero wins to his name.
The upcoming game against the Dodgers this evening may not be ideal, as Cortes has very limited experience playing against them. He only faced them once back in 2019 when he was a young pitcher, and that too for only two innings.
The Yankees are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Dodgers last night and are looking to bounce back tonight. The bats couldn’t get it going but with Nasty Nestor on the mound, I love them to make some noise.
